Supportive Curriculum for Teachers
Visions of Unity Contest Founder and Curriculum Consultant
Teresa Henkle Langness, PhD, author of Nine O'Clock Blue and a nationally published writer since 1971, also has 17 years of experience specifically as a curriculum developer. Her educational articles, textbooks, multimedia content, scripts, online courses, software and other educational content has served learners at all levels, from the youngest students to teachers engaged in masters coursework and staff development courses. Before she gave up other pursuits to devote time fully to the nonprofit organizations she was asked to found, she wrote for educational developers such as Rymel, Canter, Scott-Foresman/Addison Wesely, Nieman, Pearson, Rand McNally, McGraw Hill, Franklin-Hull, Teachscape and others. One of her nonprofits, Full-Circle Learning, serves many thousands of students spread across 13 countries. The other nonprofit organization applies the same educational model to two charter schools in urban Los Angeles. Her most recent curriculum project, a Full-Circle Learning climate change curriculum written with input from departments of the United Nations, brings the total Full-Circle Learning books and music CDs alone to 22.
